Career/ Study fair tomorrow

Will be going there with Nelnel.

1. I wanna see the University admission for SIM. Saw from the news that says government gives 40% subsidy for working adults taking part time Universities at NUS, NTU and SIM. I wanna go check on this first.
40% is a lot, if I can save this money while earning money at the same time, it could be a GREAT idea. Forget about the tiredness, because it's worth it. 40%!!!

2. Help baby check on NIE admission. He wanna be a Biology teacher.

3. See the career prospective for the Uni course that I may take.

Mom got her day off today and tomorrow. yeahs...
She wanna watch 'Ah Long' today. She hasn't been watching movies for so many years.

SACSS CAMP CORRI [ 20th Feb 08- 22th Feb 08 ]

I was the student facilitator for Sec 4/1. It was a fun and interesting camp. The students and teachers were great and not to mention, the food. =Pp I saw many many familiar faces!!!
Like Mdm Heng, Ms Karen Kang, Ms Adeline Lim, Mrs Lopez, Mr Andrew Poh and Mrs Yong, etc. Spoken to Mdm Heng and Ms Yong and they still recognize me!

Each classes were assigned to respective lecture rooms whereby there is a lecturer teaching the students. I will be sitting at the side and helping them out when necessary :)
The main purpose of the camp is to teach the students about business and finance to create a business proposal which they have to set up a stall in their school and earn money on 18th March 08.

The students kept asking me whether i am an ex-sacian and I wonder how they know. Why the hell I have everyone's face? I have a common face.

The food is damn great. Fancy eating buffets all throughout the days and nasi bryani or western food with lots of ingredients as lunch. And all sorts of cakes and snacks for hi-tea. Whoa.. ^-^

Students @ work

After the 3days, I got some gifts from the class and Alison [ she is the artist] as a form of appreciation. So sweet...

As you can see from above, I'm always wearing the handphone with me throughout the 3 days, Because of all the calls I would get from companies and job agencies. They even draw it in. LOL

Helped out in a money sense game invented by a company's director as a banker and I got ang bao! It has $12 inside and I was so surprise lah.. lol...

The other red packaging goodie is a gift from one of the students.

Hope they have actually enjoyed themselves.

The day just aft V'day............

On 15th Feb 08 (Holland Village)

Went to HV for val dinner with my 2 gals :)
After much thinking, we finally decided on 'Settlers Cafe'.

It's actually a boardgame cafe.
We ordered our food and got the package of free flow drinks
and 2 hours of gaming.
It's my first time coming to this kinda place and
It was not bad.
I saw the menu was also in a board game structure. So cute and unique.
But I didn't take any photo of it.
The games are those I have never seen nor played b4,
other than monopoly and scrabble.
Thus we don't know how to play
and have to seek assistance

It's a damn good place for friends to chill out at.
Apart from clubs

I think I prefer this 'Vampire' game the most :)

After that, it was actually 10pm le. We took bus 61
and it was a long long journey. Took so many shots in van's camera.
And we were real loud in the bus, keep laughing non stop.
Elicia spotted the fireworks outside the bus, which was for the chingay's rehearsal.

Baby got his night out till 11.15pm.

And we're able to celebrate our Valentine's Night together! Didn't watch movie. We had our Valentine's dinner at Billy Bombers. As you know, on this night, restaurants are all packed with couples and families, so don't get too high expectations on the service we get. The price for everything also "!! UP !!" a lot. Our dinner cost $78. And oh my... roses are selling at $6/ stalk at Isetan. A 12 stalks bouquet at $96. I also got 3 roses for baby, being part of the stupid people. Heex
I saw a very pretty medium size bear and I love it. The fur is so nice and smooth.

Thank Goodness...

Today is the last day of school. A Ccom interview with Mary.

But it's so funny lar, when I recall what I had said during the interview.

Qn: What are the skills you have learnt which you can apply to your job?

Ans: And while speaking, I even go to the extend to talk about sales, marketing and service automation which I think it doesn't even link to anything, but just makes it sound logical and she gong gong.. keep oh oh + nodding the head. Lol.. I doubt she don't know what I meant, because I don't think she knows it also.

Qn: Did you do anything that is beyond your job scope?

Ans: Oh.. there's 1 period of time, I was a waitress at Raffles Hotel. There was a customer who needs a shoe polish, but the hotel doesn't have any of it. Thus, by giving the extra mile, I took up the initiative to go out of the hotel to Raffles City to Guardian and got him 1. And of course I got tips from him.

Sounds great answer hor? Yeahh!... I faked it out!

She says I use "Singlish" during interview and also grammatical mistakes.

Alamak... I'm a SINGAPOREAN what... confirm got the Singapore slang.. plus I watch Ah Long Pte Ltd the previous day. so... yah...

LOL

Lucky in the end still got a 17/20! Yeah

Tomorrow is dear Valentine's Day!

And I guess the night will be lonely.

Hope everyone has receive a lot of hong baos and blessings this year and enjoyed their chu-yi and chu-er!!!

I did !
so far.. reach an $145.

On CHU yi

At noon, went over to my Hougang ah ma house to bai nian. There were a lot of people there already. And there were even more coming. Both familiar and those never see before de. All was there except for one of my uncle's family. They left earlier le. For lunch, i got to eat shark fins! and that is real shark fin of course. Very superb and $$ as u can taste the difference... Weeet!

All the tv shows are taiwanese variety shows. So nice.

After that went over to another ah ma house at Bedok.

In the evening, went to Changi Airport to eat dinner and we went to explore the new terminal 3! It's open already with many many restaurants and shops!

While waiting for Swensens. Very long queue.

On CHU Er

We went to the cruise Leisure World. And this is the very first time, I'm able to put my bets on a casino table! And I got to play a few rounds of jackpot too!

But the ship made me headache and lose my appetite as it kept shaking. Cant eat much at the buffets.

On CHU San and Si
Went to help baby at his pet shop. The boss and workers there all went holiday, thus baby offered his help at the pet shop for 2 days. The puppies are so cute. I can't bear to leave them. I would want to have a puppy to play and hug with too...

At Chu San and Chu Si, I wore my favorite clothes although only for a few hours each. =)
Both baby and I got to go each other's house to bai nian only yesterday.

Today, I got nothing to do!!! Half-watch a non-scary ghost movie borrowed and ate a lot of pineapple tarts.

Later going to Hongbao river again....

Nintendo ds

It was such a surprise for me! (o^-^o)

A very nice pink Nintendo ds which I got from baby as my V'day pressie ... It was early about 2 weeks? haha...
I totally love it man!

Anyway, it'll still be a surprise on 14th Feb.
So strange... to be celebrating my V'day with Sony =/

I'm addicted to it now already. Gosh... and my sister is snatching with me to play!

Sandra on the other hand is also sending me her games. More games!!!

Oh yea..

I now can declare that I'm free from lessons and presentations already! No more of these.
But still left interviews for the next 2 weeks.

1 --> SUPCHN Interview [Supply chain analysis on Motorola]
2 --> Career Comm Interview [like a job interview]

After these, I'm really YI WU SHUO YOU LE!!! Muahuahua.... finally it's my turn to graduate.

Haha... these few days keep playing around Facebook and its Human Pets...
Keep trying to earn more money.

I bought Faith. [currently bought away]
I bought Jernel's bf. [heng, was bought away]
I bought Karchun. [still waiting for him to buy himself away]

But, I got not enough money to buy back my boyfriend. =(
I'm so sorry... Lol...

All because of karchun la, faster get a buyer please! Lol
