Sawadeeka!
Alright, now I shall slowly start blog about my Thailand 10-days trip with baby from 17th - 26th May 09 (:
Our trip is to Krabi and Phuket. Met up with dear kat and she accompanied us to many places, she and her spoken thai helped us a lot along the way (: although some days, she didn't join us le...
Day 1:Woke up at great time 4.45am. Super excited. Took Tiger airways to Phuket Airport early morning. Took 3 buses from Phuket to Krabi town which took around 3 hrs. Buttock pain. Reached around 1pm. We were welcomed by rain as it was the wet season this time. Head over to 'Good Dream' guesthouse, the one which Kat usually stays in, to check in for our first night. It was a simple small twin bedroom with fan & common bathroom for 250 baht (arnd SGD10). Quickly bathed and had lunch before we adjourned to explore the rest of Krabi Town. The most interesting is the Orang Utan with the Traffic Light! Only that traffic light works! Dinner (Tom yam goong, phad thai), Internet surfing, watch movie and Jenga at night (:

Day 2:Morning reserved for Tiger Cave Temple. I don't see any tigers there actually. But there's a cave, the tiger was not inside. Heard from Kat and bb that it's a MUST to climb that 1237 steps of stairs up to the temple on top of the mountain. Their parents had made it recently so I should give a try too. The attempt to climb up the stairs was real exhausting. The steps were real steep and high. Saw a couple given up halfway and was climbing back down. I just wanted to give up too, but my 2 supporters were cool, keep motivate me to complete the remaining steps. I have totally no mood to admire the scenery nor take pictures, but bb just gotta make fun of me :/ hahaha. 1237 steps is incredible hard. I think I finally reached the top around half hour or so, which is quite an acheivement, that I do not take verylong (:
The view from the top is amazing...

After which, we left to another island 'TonSai" by long tail boat. Arnd 1hr, cant rmb... This place is famous for rock climbing and chilling. Small and quiet island. No roads. Most are Ang Mo tourists. The 3 of us stayed in a kampong attap house for 450 baht (arnd SGD 19) which is very ex, when there is no electricity in the day and no hot water. It's like absurd to have no power even for fan. Power came only after 6pm and cut off at 6am. Thus we just stayed outside, much cooler. The siblings went for a swim while I sat nearly playing ds and taking pics. Dined at the restaurants (Tom yam goong/ phad thai again) but with loads of BUZZ BUZZ. Very irritating... baby was like buring mosquito coils the whole night. hahaha... we quickly left the next early morning.
